The port is located in Sindhudurg Dist., about 205 nautical miles south of Mumbai. The Concession Agreement with M/s Redi Port Ltd., a constituent company of Earnest Group, was signed in February, 2009. The first phase of port project comprises of seven berths, attracting an investment of approx. 950 crores. This port is expected to handle about 33 MTPA, when fully operational. Detailed project report is under preparation. The Port is expected to be commissioned by the year 2012.
